ADRIANE WACHHOLZ: OUR ELEMENTS

The works of Adriane Wachholz (born 1979 in Oppeln, PL) mostly combine digital and analogue media into installation with a time-transcending dialogue. Drawing is seen as a perspective reflection of the possibility of depiction which acts as a psychologic projection surface in the process of “depicting nature” for the audience.

With her project “our elements“ she deals with artistic realities in nature which are, translated into drawings,  left to fossilise during a process that will last for millions of years. Her research trip leads her from Museums of Natural History in Berlin or Chemnitz to glassworks in the Bavarian Palatinate.
