Opa`s Smoked Meat

There is one thing in German culture: sausages. Even in Texas. In 1947,
Opa’s Smoked Meat started as a small smokehouse in Fredericksburg. It is a
family business that has grown over decades and built its brand around
Grandpa. Meanwhile grandson Doug Edwards takes care of the business. He
still smokes according to German tradition, even if he develops the
recipes. “Preserving the old world German heritage” is still important to
him.
